"The Tampa Baseball Museum, idyllically set in the former Ybor City home of Tampa icon and baseball hall-of-famer Al Lopez, is perhaps the most Tampa thing in Tampa. It brings baseball history in the Cigar City to life through its programs and exhibits. And there can be no better place to honor those who have honored us by playing “Our Game” across local sandlots to big-league fields. It shares the love our community has for this game, a century old relationship that shows no sign of ebbing."
